Some, like those hosted by the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cassini.ehess.fr\/cassini\/fr\/html\/1_navigation.php\">EHESS<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.davidrumsey.com\/xmaps10000.html\">David Rumsey Map Collection<\/a>, georectify and stitch together\u00a0the individual maps together to make a more-or-less seamless whole. On Gallica, the Biblioth\u00e8que nationale de France&#8217;s digital library, <a href=\"http:\/\/gallica.bnf.fr\/html\/und\/cartes\/la-carte-de-cassini\">it&#8217;s presented as individual sheets<\/a>;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.loc.gov\/item\/gm72002942\/\">the Library of Congress does the same<\/a>\u00a0with its copy\u2014the better to appreciate the originals, I suppose.
