That conference will be held in conjunction with the British Cartographic Society\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cartography.org.uk\/product\/british-cartographic-societysociety-cartographers-annual-conference\/\">Annual Conference<\/a> on 11 and 12 September at the Ordnance Survey\u2019s Southampton headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from reactions <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kennethfield\/status\/1164559655340691461\">like Kenneth Field\u2019s<\/a>, there is no other information about the Society\u2019s dissolution available online, though I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if there\u2019s been discussion in members-only areas. What on earth happened?
