Data.Pour.Paris<\/a> is a collection of interactive maps about the city of Paris. It\u2019s a lot more interesting\u2014and granular\u2014than it appears at first glance, though. The traffic<\/a> and real-time metro maps<\/a> you might expect, but the map of street lights<\/a> drills down to individual streetlights\u2014and their wattage. Public order complaints<\/a> are mapped individually, and there\u2019s even a map of the 2018 Paris marathon<\/a> that tracks the progress of individual runners. They\u2019re the work of French engineer Benjamin Tran Dinh<\/a>, and they\u2019re neat. They speak as much to the availability of such data as the ability to map it. [Maps Mania<\/a>]<\/p>\n
