It\u2019s a lot more interesting\u2014and granular\u2014than it appears at first glance, though. The <a href=\"https:\/\/data.pour.paris\/trafic\">traffic<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/data.pour.paris\/live-metro\">real-time metro maps<\/a> you might expect, but the <a href=\"https:\/\/data.pour.paris\/eclairage\">map of street lights<\/a> drills down to individual streetlights\u2014and their wattage. <a href=\"https:\/\/data.pour.paris\/dans-ma-rue\">Public order complaints<\/a> are mapped individually, and there\u2019s even <a href=\"https:\/\/data.pour.paris\/marathon\">a map of the 2018 Paris marathon<\/a> that tracks the progress of individual runners. They\u2019re the work of French engineer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benjamintd.com\">Benjamin Tran Dinh<\/a>, and they\u2019re neat. They speak as much to the availability of such data as the ability to map it.
