Gareth Fuller<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Gareth Fuller, whom we first heard about thanks to his masterpiece London Town<\/em>, is in the news again<\/a>. Now based in Beijing, he found himself forced to self-quarantine for 14 days after returning from a trip to Kuala Lumpur. Fuller has mapped every place he has lived, so he spent his two weeks of isolation creating quarantine maps<\/a>\u2014one for each day. The maps are claustrophobic\u2014his apartment is 590 square feet\u2014metaphorical, even fantastical. They\u2019re very much on-point in this age of self-isolation and social distancing. They\u2019re available as a set of postcards<\/a> for \u00a314, which is considerably cheaper than his other\u00a0limited edition prints<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last fall Fuller released a tourist map of Pyongyang<\/a> (BBC News<\/a>). I seem to have missed his map of Beijing<\/a> when it came out.<\/p>\n
