\"North<\/a>It\u2019s been years in the making, but prints of Anton Thomas<\/a>\u2019s pictorial map, North America: Portrait of a Continent<\/em><\/a>, can now be pre-ordered<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Three versions are available: a 42\u00d752-inch (107\u00d7132.5-cm) poster<\/a>, a 44\u00d754-inch (111.7\u00d7138.3-cm) gicl\u00e9e print<\/a> in a limited edition of 1,200, and a 48\u00d759-inch (121\u00d7149.6-cm) gicl\u00e9e print<\/a> in a limited edition of 400. Prices will be shown in your local currency: in Canadian dollars they\u2019re $95, $490 and $765, respectively. These are discounted prices for pre-orders. Shipping outside Australia will be by UPS (I was quoted a shipping fee of US$35 at checkout), and will begin on April 16.<\/p>\n

My main concerns are where I\u2019m going to put it, and how I\u2019m going to have it framed. But I\u2019ll worry about that later.<\/p>\n
