The 15th-century map was the first to show Scotland in any detail; it was included in Hardyng\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bl.uk\/manuscripts\/FullDisplay.aspx?ref=Lansdowne_MS_204\">1457 chronicle<\/a>, in which he hoped to make the case for an English invasion of Scotland. Held by the British Library, the map is being made available via the Library\u2019s Treasures on Tour program. <a href=\"https:\/\/hardyng-map.wp.st-andrews.ac.uk\/see-the-map\/\">It\u2019s at the Wardlaw Museum<\/a> until 3 July 2022.
