(Today would have been his 100th birthday.) He and his wife Peggy (who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maproomblog.com\/2018\/05\/peggy-osher-1929-2018\/\">died in 2018<\/a>) amassed a sizeable map collection, which they then donated to the University of Southern Maine; they went on to donate to and campaign for <a href=\"https:\/\/oshermaps.org\/about\/history\">the map library that would bear their name<\/a>.
