Historic Towns Trust.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/londonist.substack.com\/p\/a-new-map-of-medieval-london\"><em>Londonist<\/em> does a good job introducing us to two maps of old London<\/a> published by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.historictownstrust.uk\">Historic Towns Trust<\/a> a few years ago\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/shop.historictownstrust.uk\/product\/a-map-of-medieval-london\">a map of medieval London<\/a> (1270-1300) published in 2019, and <a href=\"https:\/\/shop.historictownstrust.uk\/product\/tudor-london-the-city-and-southwark-in-1520\">a map of Tudor London<\/a> (1520) published in 2018 (and updated in 2022). The Historic Towns Trust publishes many maps of British towns and cities\u2014<em>historical<\/em> maps, not reproductions of old maps (in fact, <em>Londonist<\/em> points out that no maps of London prior to about 1550 currently exist). The Trust\u2019s London maps are also available as overlays on the Layers of London online map: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.layersoflondon.org\/map\/overlays\/tudor-map-1520\">Tudor<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.layersoflondon.org\/map\/overlays\/medieval-london-1270-1300\">medieval<\/a>.
