The History of Cartography Project<\/a>\u2019s fifth and final volume, Cartography in the Nineteenth Century<\/a><\/em>, has finally gone to press<\/a>, though the massive book will take two years to work its way through the production pipeline<\/a>. It\u2019s scheduled for publication in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(All previous volumes are available as free downloads in PDF format<\/a>. So will volume five, once it\u2019s been out for a couple of years.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
