This dynamic 3-day Historic Maps Discovery Training will include lectures, one-to-one consultations,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.history.ac.uk\/library-digital\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">library tours<\/a>, visits to our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.london.ac.uk\/about\/services\/senate-house-library\/using-library\/reading-rooms-study-spaces\/special-collections-reading-room\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">special collections<\/a>\u00a0and opportunities to explore our digital resource\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.layersoflondon.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Layers of London<\/a>. Together, we will learn about the different types of historic map, from the evolution of cartography to the simple digital tools you can use for comparison and analysis in your own projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>It costs \u00a3240; no prior expertise or experience required.
