{"id":3971,"date":"2017-02-27T08:39:21","date_gmt":"2017-02-27T13:39:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.maproomblog.com\/?p=3971"},"modified":"2017-02-27T08:39:21","modified_gmt":"2017-02-27T13:39:21","slug":"mapping-safe-washrooms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.maproomblog.com\/2017\/02\/mapping-safe-washrooms\/","title":{"rendered":"Mapping Safe Washrooms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In response to <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bathroom_bill\">measures<\/a> like North Carolina&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Public_Facilities_Privacy_&amp;_Security_Act\">House Bill 2<\/a>, which restricts access to public washrooms by transgender people, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vocativ.com\/405206\/crowdsource-safe-transgender-bathrooms\/\">crowdsourced online maps of safe washrooms<\/a>\u2014places with unisex or gender-neutral washrooms, or that let transgender people use the washroom that matches their gender identity\u2014have been created: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.refugerestrooms.org\">Refuge Restrooms<\/a>\u00a0has both a list and a map view; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/viewer?mid=1hAMMQ8PSAI78aBshmaMNHUFWICA&amp;ll=38.35922644583115%2C-87.46499949444444&amp;z=4\">Safe Bathrooms<\/a> uses Google My Maps.
