I appreciate hearing from my readers, but I should warn you that I\u2019m terrible at responding to messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I cannot answer general questions about maps or geography, or about the websites I link to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:2em\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"contact-review\">Review Copies<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Items sent to me&nbsp;for&nbsp;review&nbsp;should have maps or cartography as their primary focus. As an amateur, I am unable to review technical books for programmers or geospatial professionals; on the other hand, as a lapsed historian, I can handle historical monographs. The best fit for me are books or products aimed at a broad audience or at arts-and-humanities academia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can send ebooks&nbsp;to me at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:contact@jonathancrowe.net\">contact@maproomblog.com<\/a>; I can handle Adobe Digital Editions, epub, mobi&nbsp;(Kindle) and PDF files. To send something via postal, courier or shipping services (for example, a review copy or product sample), please contact me first in order to get my address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I won\u2019t be able to review every book or product sent to me, nor can I promise to review it promptly or favourably. I will disclose if I have received a review copy. Reviews will usually contain links to online stores (Amazon, Bookshop) with my affiliate ID; I earn income from qualifying purchase via those links.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:2em\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"submit-link\">Submitting a Link<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I am always\u00a0looking for new and interesting web pages about maps that I can link to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Links should be current, or at least something I haven\u2019t seen before (search before submitting), and freely available (i.e. no paywalls). I won\u2019t post unattributed maps: if it\u2019s making the social media rounds, I need to know who created it before I can post it here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019re welcome to suggest your own work, but I\u2019ll be selective in what I post. Your link has to be of interest to a non-professional audience, even if they don\u2019t buy your product.
